Suturing Techniques Course

This hands-on course offers trainees and junior doctors an opportunity to learn the core skills to perform ophthalmic suturing. The course will cover the basics of ophthalmic eye surgery, an overview of microsurgical instruments and the theory of different suturing techniques.


Each participant will have the opportunity to work at a personal workstation, fully equipped with a microscope and suturing materials. Course directors are Dr Hugo Van Cleynenbreugel and Dr Onne Creten from Belgium, assisted by several experienced instructors. Each course will be supervised by two instructors, allowing for ample time for questions and personal advice.
