Biography
Kimberley Monden, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She is a fellow of the American Psychological Association. Her research focuses on psychosocial outcomes and adaptation to neurologic injury, with a specific interest in resilience and injustice appraisals.
Marcel Post, PhD, is the leader of SCI research at De Hoogstraat Rehabilitation in the Netherlands. In 2014, he was appointed a special professor of SCI rehabilitation at the University Medical Center Groningen, Netherlands. His research interests concern psychological factors, social participation, and QoL of people with SCI or stroke and the measurement of these concepts.
Allen W. Heinemann is a Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and Director of the Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes Research at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago). He is a diplomate in Rehabilitation Psychology and a fellow of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and the American Psychological Association. He serves as co-editor-in-chief for the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is on the editorial boards of Rehabilitation Psychology and the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation. He is the author of more than 450 articles.
Annette Halvorsen, PhD, is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation and senior consultant at the Department of Spinal Cord Injury, Clinic of Rehabilitation, St. Olavs, Trondheim University Hospital. She is the leader of the Nordic Spinal Cord Injury Registry and the Norwegian Spinal Cord Injury Registry, Department of Medical Quality Registries, St. Olavs, Trondheim University Hospital, Norway.
