Abnormal resting state functional connectivity of the posterior parietal cortex in individuals with chronic spinal cord injury
2:00 PM - 2:10 PMBiography
Dr. Giuseppe A. Zito obtained his Master's Degree with honours in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rome “Sapienza” in 2012, and a PhD also in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bern in 2016. He had several research stays at the Inselspital Bern, the Sorbonne University in Paris and the ETH Zurich, where he applied neuroimaging techniques to study the pathophysiological mechanisms of neurological disorders, such as cervical dystonia, Gilles de la Tourette disorder and functional movement disorders. In January 2023, Giuseppe has been appointed Group Leader of the Advanced Imaging Research (AIR) Group at Swiss Paraplegic Research. His current research focus is on neuroimaging of cognition in SCI.
